Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), we explain below how personal data belonging to parents and children is processed.

01 Data controller

02 Personal data processed
We process identity data (name, surname, national ID number, date of birth), contact data (phone, email, address), health data (vaccination records, allergy and chronic condition records), visual records (activity photographs) and payment data.

03 Purposes of processing
Data is processed to establish and perform the enrolment contract, deliver the educational service, protect the child's health and safety, communicate with parents, meet legal obligations and collect fees.

04 Legal basis
Processing rests on the establishment and performance of a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c), compliance with a legal obligation (art. 5/2-ç) and legitimate interest (art. 5/2-f). Explicit consent is obtained separately for health data and for sharing photographs.

05 Transfers
Where legally required, data may be transferred to the Ministry of National Education and authorised public bodies, to our accountant for financial records, and to the IT infrastructure providers we use. No transfer abroad takes place.

06 Retention
Enrolment and educational records are kept for ten years following the child's departure; financial records are kept for ten years under tax legislation. Photographic records held on the basis of consent are deleted immediately if that consent is withdrawn.

07 Your rights
Under KVKK art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it has been, to learn the purpose of processing, to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred at home or abroad, to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, to request erasure or destruction, to request that these actions be notified to third parties, to object to an outcome against you produced solely by automated analysis, and to claim compensation for any loss suffered.

08 How to apply
You may send your requests by email to [email protected] or in writing to our school address. Applications are concluded within thirty days at the latest.
