02 — Who we are
A small school with a big garden
Pırıl is a single-site preschool founded in 2007 by three early years teachers.
We keep our classes small on purpose: no more than twelve children in a group. That way we genuinely know each child's name, temperament and mood that morning.

A full-time nurse, weekly height and weight checks, and a general medical check once a month.

A short progress note every day, a parent meeting each month, and a teacher you can reach whenever you need to.

My daughter used to cry at the door every morning. By the third week she was running inside. It mattered enormously to us that they never rushed her settling in.
The size of the garden was what convinced us first. But the real difference is the teachers: every evening they can actually tell you what your child did that day.
Both of my children went to Pırıl. Across four years the class teacher never changed, and that kind of stability matters far more in early years than you would think.

Let's clear things up
From what age can my child start?
We accept children who have turned 3 and finished toilet training. Every new child begins with half days during the first week.
How does settling in work?
For the first few days a parent may stay in the classroom. From the second week we extend the hours gradually. We charge nothing extra until settling in is complete.
Where are the meals prepared?
Every meal is cooked in the school's own kitchen, following a monthly menu approved by a dietitian. We share the menu with parents at the start of each month.
How do you handle children with allergies?
We complete an allergy form at enrolment. The kitchen prepares separately for that child, and the list is held by both the class teacher and the nurse.
Do you offer a school bus?
We run a bus with an attendant across Kadıköy and Ataşehir. We agree the route together during the enrolment meeting.
